Time with Luca
Now I have to admit that i made this card back in August when Moira my French demo friend visited me. We had a fun weekend together and made quite a few cards with this set. Now I will tell you straight away that the sentiment (hristmas part) is retired now but the sentiment from the Contempo Christmas will work just as well. I just didn‘t get round to changing it. The combo is Baja Breeze, River Rock and Cherry Cobbler.
The frame was stamped straight onto my river rock layer and the C monogram from the Broadsheet alpha was stamped on vanilla and punched out with the 13/4” circle punch.
The rest of the words was stamped on a banner and pieced together with the monogram for a different look. The bird from the same set was stamped in espresso ink and cut out.
Glass glitter, delicate lace trim, pearls and an and antique brad provide plenty to look at and give a pretty and slightly vintage feel to this card I feel.
I need to step up my Christmas card making a bit although I am soo much ahead than other years thanks to my Christmas Club. I have quite a few ready.
now this week was wonderful so far as is half term and Luca and my sis have been here since last Saturday. To say I loved every minute of it is a slight understatement is been fabulous and I needed the break as well. we went out and about every day but Tuesday we had the best day. We spent it the the fabulous Farmers Cart near York and we all had a fab day.
We laughed so much going through the spooky corn maze, Luca was terrified bless him and I laugh every time I see this picture, I had to zoom in so you can see his face, I love this little guy so much.
hope to see you again soon thank you for stopping by, hugs xx

Versatile Petal Cone
Hello there hpe you’re well and having a good weekend. I will have to be quick as we are holding Mum’s six month remembrance service today. Laura with little Luca arrived last night and we are all heading for the Church soon.
I want to show you the yummo Petal Cone Die from stampin’Up1 today. It is probably my fave new die although of course I love the candy wrap die and so many others.
I will have LOADS of these on my tree this year and will make plenty to gift to my friends as well.
How lovely would they look on a tree? Petal Cone die, the doily layer is from the Pennant Die the cute saying is from the tags till Christmas stamp set cut with the curly label punch, it fits in perfectly. some polka dot ribbon and a tiny button complete the whole decor of this simply but very effective decoration of course it has the added bonus of being able to gift something inside it as well.here s a close up
I used Stampin’Up! markers in chocolate chip and cherry cobbler.
The handles made from polka dot ribbon were attached to the cone with pretty antique brads.
Last week I had a play with some of my team girls and we had a go at turning the petal cone die into a stunning favor box perfect for a weeding, it was my plan to make a groom as well but I just run out of time.
In addition to petal cone die we used the large heart punch, the lace border punch and the itty bitty flower punch for the bouquet. I adore the whole thing and I wish I could credit the person that inspired me to make this, I have seen many examples as elaborate as you can imagine, I even saw one made from 4 pieces and it ends up like a beautiful crinoline dress. The sentiment if from the Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Have a wonderful Sunday see you again very soon. Till then Big Hugs xx

Training Passionettes..
I want to share with you the fabby projects we did last Sunday in Peterborough. There was loads of us on the day and we had such a great time I love demo get togethers .
I am sure you want to see the projects
We made 3 cards, a cute Halloween treat box, a lovely scrapbook page and a equally lovely album last two designed by the fabby Bekka.
Here we go
I am sure you heard of paper piecing technique before, well I named the technique for this card Stamp Piecing .
We basically took two stamps and married them together to create a fab effect. Stamp sets used are the new set Aviary and The old set Hopeful Thoughts.
Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade.
You can see the fabulous new ribbon punch, new gorgeous antique brads and stroke able Victoria lace trim. the sweet flowers were punched with the itty bitty punch.
Next up
Everyone got in their kits half a pack of the yummy Mocha Morning papers, a full pack of antique brads and a full reel of Victoria lace so we have been using those supplies throughout the day.
I LOVE this card, Everything Eleanor is a super set I really like the oversized frame and the beautiful swirl, the flowers were stamped and cut out and each one adorned with a antique brad. Sentiment comes from the For My Family a firm fave of mine.
Next up was my favourite of them all
A cute witch hat made with the versatile Petal Cone die and the scallop circle die. We used some of the flocked paper from the Mocha morning to decorate and a few splashes of colour for contrast. The face comes from the Jack of All trades stamp set.
Next Bekka’s beautiful projects
A gorgeous looking handbag using those delish papers but then when you open it up…….. SURPRISE, SURPRISE !!!!!!!!!!
is a beautiful album. It uses some of our square envelopes and is decorated with more Everything Eleanor and Baja Breeze card stock.
Last project was this simple but very effective scrap page.
How clever is that mitred frame ? made using the fabulous lace border punch.
Right I am off finishing some work I have outstanding is a very busy time of the year from SU demos.
Hope to see you soon, thank you for stopping by, hugs xx

Kidoodles Halloween treats
Hello there, as you read this I will be in Peterborough meeting with lots of my team members and lovely fellow demonstrators for a full day of stamping sharing and crafting. I am very excited to see everyone and I am hoping everyone will love the fun projects we have prepared. I will of course share them with you all after today.
But right now I want to share with you my swaps. We swap between us at every event and here’s mine a very cute treat holder, each one holds a little chocolate.
Yiiikess look at him !! are you scared of spiders? do they give you the creeps? I do not mind them actually at all.
These sweet treat holders were made with the fabulous 2 tags die. I love Halloween and I am soo glad we now carry stamps and papers. This cute little spider is part of the Kidoodles stamp set and I coloured him using a blender pen and our ink pads. I did shot a video tutorial and will have it uploaded either tonight(if I am not totally wiped out) or tomorrow. Unfortunately I run out of time to edit and have it uploaded in time for today. The fact that I shot the video is an achievement so I should not be putting to much pressure on LOL.
Here’s a little close up
Isn’t it he cute? I started by loving doing them however after making about 150 of these I wasn’t so in love with them anymore. I only needed 50 for today’s training but I loved adding them to this month’s orders and also I know I need some for the end of the month so I can guarantee that I will have to make some more.
Thank you for stopping by have a great Sunday and see you again soon. Till then big hugs xxx

Masculine the easy way..
Hello I hope the sun is shining where you are as well, is a beautiful day here today. We have been blessed with a lovely and warm autumn long may it continue.
I have a masculine card here for you today and I am pleased that it only took me about 15 minutes. Now that is unheard off normally I find it so hard to work masculine.
Loads of new catalogue products on here but I just carried away and I love using two or more sets to create a card that’s just perfect, after all that’s the perks of having a big stamp collection is it not? uhu I am desperately trying to justify my insane amount of spends in the new book.
Two sentiments sets were used to spell my celebratory message, For My Family which is such a welcome addition to any stamp collection and Delightful Dozen containing beautiful messages covering a wide range of events.
In the background you can see a new embossing folder and the Well Worn designer paper which is just stunning and so perfect for masculine projects.
The main panel was coloured with the aid of Stampin’Up! s marvellous markers. I used quite a few colours and I huffed over the entire image before stamping onto Very vanilla card stock.
a few buttons for extra interest and DENIM ribbon!!! oooh this looks fabaroonie on men’s card, gotta love that!!!
Supplies: all Stampin’Up! unless otherwise stated
PAPER: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso , Night of Navy, Very vanilla, Well Worn designer paper INK:Cajun craze,Night of Navy, River Rock, Early Espresso, Soft Suede Markers
STAMPS: For My family, Delightful Dozen
TOOLS: Big Shot, Square Lattice and Stripes embossing folders, ACCESSORIES: Denim Jean ribbon and neutral collection buttons.
Directions.
Cut a card blank from Cajun craze measuring 14cnx 14cm.
Cut a strip of Early espresso card at 5cm x12cm and a strip of designer paper at 4.5cm x 12cm and attach on top of the espresso strip.
Cut a piece of river rock card stock measuring 12cm x 7cm and run thought your big shot machine on the stripes embossing folder.
Glue both those layers to the card blank then cut another strip of espresso card 14cm x 5cm and run this through the square lattice embossing folder. Wrap some denim jean ribbon around and attach over the join on the card.
Cut a piece of vanilla card 6cm x 9cm and a night of navy piece at 6.5cm x 9.5cm .
Using markers ink and stamp your message on the vanilla layer then use a dauber to ink some espresso ink on the edges, glue to the navy card and add to the card with dimensionals. Thread some thin strips of card through the buttons and glue in place.
To make the fun banners at the bottom stamp the sentiment in navy onto vanilla card, Using your scissors cut thought the letters and add a flag like shape at the bottom. Attach under the ribbon with a strip of dimensionals and you’re done.
Have a glorious weekend , see you again soon Hugs xxx

Mocha Morning papers
Happy New Week!!! hope you had a great weekend, I took some ME time as this was the only Free weekend this month, I have and will be working all the rest. So it was nice not to do very much other than cook like a woman possessed with the Thermie. I have made sauces to keep in the fridge for quick mid week meals, 3 batches of bread, a raspberry sorbet, vanilla ice cream, soup, cottage cheese, coleslaw, plus some yummy dinners, and of course CADA every morning to start us off right, I loved it.
I am showing you a few more samples I had ready for my Catalogue Launch last week. It uses the most gorgeous set of papers, Mocha Morning Speciality.
They are to die for keep your eyes peeled for a paper share soon, you need to see these in real life, super gorgeous flocked designs in soothing neutral shades will allow you to create elegant projects and packaging in a flash.
Supplies:
Stamps: Tiny Tags, Just Believe
Papers:Mocha morning dsp, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla card
Inks: Soft suede, basic black, crumb cake
Tools: brayer, tiny tags punch, itty bitty flower punch
Accessories: Yummy Victoria lace trim, pearls, vintage brads.
Dimensions:
Start with a A5 card blank in soft suede, cut a piece of dsp 8.5cm x 13cm and adhere to the blank.
Cut a piece of Very vanilla card at 6.5cm x 10cm stamp your design then using the brayer and crumb cake ink gently brayer some colour from the outside edges to the middle to create the aged background.
Overstamp the corners by inking first then stamping off on a scrap of paper before stamping onto your panel.
Punch out some dsp with the itty bitty and add on the main stamped motif top with self adhesive pearls.
Adhere your panel to the main card and add some lace trim and a vintage brad. Stamp your sentiment and punch out add to the brad and VOILa! done.
Look at that fabulous brad !! I adore these and they are amazing value £5.50 for a pack of 20. And the trim Oh my!! do not ask me about that because I will bore you to death pronouncing my eternal love for it.
I hope you like my offering today and before I go I will explain a bit about my favourite breakfast at the minute CADA. Until I bought my Thermomix I have never heard of it but I had this nearly every morning since finding out, if you have a processor you will be able to make this and trust me you will find it hard to go back to muesli after tasting this.
CADA stands for Coconut(desicated), Almonds, Dates and Apple fresh.
You need a small handful of each and one fresh apple, add everything to the Thermomix bowl and press turbo button for 2 seconds no more or you will end up with puree. If using a traditional food processor it will take you longer but just keep an eye on the texture.
I enjoy mine with a generous helping of creamy Greek yoghurt made in the Thermomix as well. Let me know if you try it.
See you again soon thank you for stopping by hugs Monica xxx

Winners !!! and FABRIC!!!
I have the winners from my Catalogue Launch and here they are..
Congratulations ladies and huge THANK YOU to those that entered.
And I am showing something a bit different that involves our FABRIC !! yep we now carry beautiful cotton prints that coordinate beautifuly with our stamp sets and designer papers.
This is a project that we did at my last monthly training and it doubled up as another entry into the Stampin’Up! competition.
Its a beautiful soft ruffled necklace using the Timeless portrait fabric. You simply stitch a channel on your length of fabric then thread the chain through. You can embellish further with some lace or indeed leave as it is. Fraying the edges adds extra texture. I hope you like my funky neck piece and I hope you will enjoy the rest of your weekend. Till next time Big Hugs xxx

READY STEADY…………SHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am sure you are super excited to have a good old smooch at all the new stuff and OH EM GEE!!! I am going to be so broke. There is far to much I need/want and narrowing it down to fit my budget is proving hard. I think I have my final list sorted so i am good to go.
Ok the first thing I want to announce is BIG Changes to the hostess benefits!!
I am super excited about this change as it makes our fabulous reward program even more fabulous if that was ever possible. Going forward from this catalogue we no longer have the tiered system so good old hostess levels are GONE!!
Instead the hostess simply receives a £ amount based on the totalling sales. She then is free to choose how to spend her money, on hostess exclusive sets or on catalogue items of her choice. This is so much more flexible and guess what else is really cool? A total order of £150 will ensure you can still afford the most expensive hostess set in the book if you so fancy it, no longer you need to spend £600 to get a bigger more expensive hostess set, isn’t that cool? I Stampin’ Up!! Check out the new table
Want to know something else? If your workshop reaches £300 in sales you get £50 credit to spend as you wish and you can also choose to get any item in catalogue at HALF PRICE!! That’s right you can now get a Big Shot for half price, or how about a pricier die alphabet set for half price, or the cool Doctor’s bag to carry your Big Shot in ? FAB_U_LOUS rewards I tell you and I couldn’t be happier. I know this will mean a lot for our hostesses and if you wish to book your workshop with me straight away and see some of the new products ASAP please contact me today to get your event booked.
Also my Virtual Club is now FULL (thank you Mary) but I am sure after seeing the new book more of you would want to join one and spread the cost. I am taking now bookings for one starting at the end of the month, if you fancy it contact me to book your place.
